WHAT TO EXPECT

A preview answers the useful question.

NoiseVanish reduces steady background noise around recorded speech and offers optional loudness or recording-volume leveling. It does not identify speakers or recover hidden words. Preview a difficult passage before spending account minutes on the full recording.

One voice, changing distance

Try Even Voice & Level when the recording gets louder and softer. It applies bounded volume adjustments before loudness leveling; it is not speaker detection or a guarantee of equal voices.

Interviews with several speakers

Check each microphone and speaker separately in the preview. One cleanup setting applies to the full file, so choose a compromise that keeps the quieter speaker intelligible.

Voice notes and recorded lessons

Keep cleaned volume if you will mix the take yourself, or choose Clean & Level for a -16 LUFS target when peak limits allow it. The result still needs a listening check in its final context.

A REPRESENTATIVE COMPARISON

To Sherlock Holmes she is always the woman. I have seldom heard him mention her under any other name. In his eyes she eclipses and predominates the whole of her sex.

Three steps to a result you can judge.

  1. Choose an audio recording and a passage with difficult speech.

  2. Compare cleanup strengths, then optionally choose Clean & Level or Even Voice & Level.

  3. Process the complete take and listen to every speaker before downloading or passing it to an editor.

Review the quietest words, changes in microphone distance and long pauses. Echo, clipping, overlapping speakers and covered words can remain. Keep your source for later editing.

Supported formats and file limits

MP3, WAV, M4A, MP4, MOV and WEBM. A supported extension still needs readable media tracks and compatible codecs.

Free preview sources: up to 10 minutes / 200 MB. Paid desktop files: up to 60 minutes / 1 GB; phones and tablets: up to 30 minutes / 500 MB. Available memory, codecs and storage can lower the practical limit.

Questions about this recording

Can this separate the speakers?

No speaker stems or speaker detection are offered. A shared cleanup setting is applied to the recording. Listen to each speaker when deciding whether the result works.

What does Even Voice & Level do?

It makes bounded adjustments to audible recording volume changes, then measures the adjusted result for the final loudness pass. It cannot guarantee equal perceived loudness across speakers or repair buried words.

What happens after the free preview?

Full-file processing checks your signed-in account allowance. A preview does not unlock a full-file download; current plans and minutes remain on the pricing page.
